Come join the fun at our 6th annual saxophone workshop for advanced middle and high school students.

Classic Winds, Strings & Percussion is please to announce the continuation of an important educational and fun opportunity for all high school and advanced middle school saxophonists! The Saxophone Performance Workshop will provide you with a UNIQUE opportunity to play with other really interested saxophonists.

Well-known professional music instructors and performers will work with you in both LARGE SAXOPHONE ORCHESTRA (SOPRANO, ALTO, TENOR, BARITONE AND BASS SAXOPHONES) and small ensemble settings. You will have the opportunity to perform for comments from the instructors in daily masterclasses. Special guest artists will perform throughout the week and we'll conclude with a special concert featuring our Saxophone Orchestra and select ensembles. This will be a week of intensive study of saxophone performance, literature, acoustics, vibrato, history, college preparation, and everything else related to the saxophone. Participants are asked to prepare at least one solo for optional performance in a masterclass.
